Insight Bexley provides support for refugees, minority ethnic groups and young people. We promotes the positive contribution that refugees, minority ethnic groups and young people make to the UK. Fundamental to Insight approach is an emphasis on partnership working. We combine our years of experience with the flexibility to meet changing demands locally and promote positive national influence.

We seek to provide quality housing services and support to refugees, minority groups, young people and asylum seekers to develop their independence, promote their positive contribution to this country and ease their integration into the UK.

The Insight key objectives:

• To provide quality housing and support services to more refugees, minority groups, young people and asylum seekers that are sensitive to their needs and assist their settlement and integration

• To increase the housing options available to refugees, minority groups, young people and asylum seekers.

• To promote the positive contribution refugees, minority groups, young people and asylum seekers make to society and enable integration and cohesion which include non-housing community initiatives.

Insight acts as an agent of positive change in Bexley and the neighbouring Boroughs in order to improve the everyday life, conditions of asylum seekers and refugees, and to promote social inclusion by facilitating their integration and equal participation within British society. Insight operates Service contract in Bexley and the neighbouring boroughs. This service may also be accessible to asylum seekers who are entitled to support from the Home Office “National Asylum Support Service” (NASS) which was established under the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999. As well as working directly with asylum seekers, Insight Bexley is also involved in a host of other refugee related work.
